Оfficial opening of construction of the Centralized store for long-term storage of SRS at the complex «Vektor»

On October, 5th has taken place solemn official opening of construction of the Centralized store for long-term storage of SRS at the complex «Vektor»  with participation of the Ambassador of the Great Britain Lee Turner and the Chairman of the State agency of Ukraine on management of the exclusion zone Vladimir Holosha. As event symbolics has served tree planting, thus, marked construction beginning. The corporation Ukrtransbud. is a General contractor for construction.  

The object purpose is reception, identification, sorting, processing, kitting, certification and the subsequent separate storage (up to 50 years) of the spent sources an alpha-, beta-, gamma- and neutron radiation of closed type and their further transfer for disposal or processing.
